Cheery Yellow Houses, or rather, Bungalows

It is raining in DC today, but as it happens so rarely, I really enjoy the rain here. Sometimes it is an exciting torrential downpour (mostly in Summer) but today it is a really nice dismal drizzle and I love it. It also made me appreciate a house a few blocks from me for an entirely new reason. I've always loved it because it is on a corner lot and has a very nice squared off turret corner thing going on. But today I realized how brilliantly wonderfully yellow it is, and just how cheerful that looks in rainy weather.

I've had a love of yellow houses for many many years. I think this has to do with growing up in dreary, drippy, dismal drizzle. If you cannot have sunshine from above, why not create it down below? So, I'm off looking for examples of very fine yellow houses that are just what I dream of.
